Position: Dental Hygienist

Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $42.00

Work Location: Columbus Health Department, 5601 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, totaling 29 hours per week.

This role, under general supervision, encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Delivering preventive oral hygiene care to patients of all ages, including both adults and children.
  • Conducting dental x-rays, cleanings, applying sealants, administering fluoride treatments, and providing oral health education.
  • Documenting dental conditions, diseases, and anomalies in patient records.
  • Cleaning, sterilizing, and ensuring the upkeep of dental instruments and equipment.
  • Setting up and breaking down operatory equipment between patient appointments.
  • Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned.
Compensation Details:
  • $35 - $42 per hour
