Commercial Painting Project Manager

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Industry: Commercial Construction | Division 9 - Painting & Coatings

About the Opportunity

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a well-established commercial painting contractor in the Las Vegas market that is looking to add an experienced Commercial Painting Project Manager to its growing team.

This is an opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial work and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the region.


Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial painting projects from award through closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This position works closely with clients, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to successfully manage all phases of the construction process.


Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple commercial painting projects simultaneously from preconstruction through final closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and manpower plans
  • Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project scopes
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Procure materials and coordinate deliveries
  • Monitor project costs and maintain profitability
  • Conduct jobsite visits to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Commercial Painting Project Management experience
  • Experience managing commercial or industrial painting projects
  • Strong understanding of commercial coatings, surface preparation, and application methods
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with healthcare, education, hospitality, industrial, or office projects
  • Knowledge of concrete coatings, specialty coatings, and sealants
  • Experience with tilt-up, tenant improvement, and occupied renovation projects
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Experience managing projects ranging from approximately $100K to $8M+

Software Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

  • On-Screen Takeoff (OST)
  • Bluebeam
  • Procore
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Construction management software
