This is a 2-3 month contract to support a large software implementation that requires travel throughout New Mexico, but also the ability to provide virtual trainings as needed.

The Role
RedMane has a 2-3 month contract for a dynamic Software Trainer. This role is centered on leading engaging, instructor-led training sessions-both in person and virtually-for our clients' software implementations. The Trainer will deliver high-quality learning experiences, ensure user readiness, and support the development of training materials and programs that help end users confidently adopt new systems.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead in-person classroom training and live virtual training sessions for diverse user groups
  • Facilitate hands-on software demonstrations, guided practice, and scenario-based learning
  • Prepare training agendas, lesson plans, exercises, and supporting materials
  • Assess learner progress and adjust delivery style to meet audience needs
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand system functionality and translate it into effective training content
  • Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of training programs
  • Evaluate user readiness and identify areas requiring additional support
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and serve as a trusted training partner
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated experience delivering live software training in classroom and virtual environments
  • Experience working on business analysis or software development projects
  • Knowledge of state government departments and human services programs (preferred)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management abilities
  • Problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of organizational challenges
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and the software implementation lifecycle
