Job description

As a Software and Test Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify and troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes. Your expertise in SQL Server, C# language, and Visual Basic will be instrumental in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools. This role will require travel to various contract manufacturing sites to oversee testing activities and ensure compliance with quality standards. You will report directly to our Director of Advance Manufacturing Engineering (AME) and you'll work out of our headquarters in Raleigh,NC on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the quality and performance of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of reliability and functionality.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in test or software developmentor a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, C#, Phyton, and Visual Basic.
  • Experience with firmware download and flashing microprocessors.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.
  • Experience with Database & server management.
  • Experience maintaining Computers and Servers.
  • Willingness to travel to contract manufacturing sites as required. ( ~ 10% )
