Job description

Are you a Graphic Designer with a creative passion and proven experience collaborating with other designers, copywriters, and project managers to conceptualize and execute campaigns that are both creatively and strategically sound?  Are you consistently delivering more than just a nice design-are your design decisions thoughtful, strategic, and on-brand? Can you work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines? If so, then keep reading!
We are recruiting a highly skilled Designer for a 6-month contract in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time position, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, follows a hybrid work schedule of four days in the office and one day remote. Only local candidates from the Phoenix area will be considered.
As a Graphic Designer, you will support our client's creative team. In this fast-paced and highly collaborative position, you will lead the design of impactful creations across branded materials such as signage, displays, and print materials that engage and drive results. You will conceptualize and execute thoughtful, on-brand campaigns that blend storytelling with strategic design. As a master of Adobe Creative Cloud, you are detail-oriented, agile under pressure, and driven by both creativity and curiosity. As a key contributor, you will work closely with designers, copywriters, and project managers to bring compelling ideas to life, consistently pushing boundaries while maintaining brand integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, design, and implement initiatives across various platforms, including but not limited to print materials, signage, presentations, and displays.
  • Stay agile and excel under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations to create impressive work that consistently aligns with our client's brand.
  • Build strong relationships through effective communication with fellow designers, creative directors, vice presidents, project managers, and clients.
  • Present and sell your work while clearly explaining the creative reasons behind your design decisions.
  • Manage post-production photography tasks as needed. Understand how photography integrates with your design by selecting the appropriate shot, cropping for the space, and conveying the best possible story.
  • Contribute to all stages of the creative process: from concept through execution and some production, to the delivery of final files.
  • Elevate innovative and well-crafted ideas to enhance and expand our client's brand message.
  • Develop and implement independently while refining your work based on input from creative leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Six years of professional design experience as a Graphic Designer.
  • A BS/BA in graphic design or a related field is preferred, though not required. We are most focused on your experience, energy, passion, collaboration, and portfolio.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office applications, with additional experience in print and production being an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Workfront or comparable project management software is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while consistently producing high-quality work in an efficient manner.
  • Experience designing templated assets that can be replicated across different environments, ensuring consistency and brand integrity.
  • You can demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and composure in stressful situations.
  • Ability to receive feedback and respond with urgency and positivity.
  • You have kept up with design trends, AI advancements, materials, and innovations to produce fresh, impactful designs.
  • Must have a stunning portfolio that showcases exceptional talent in typography, layout, photography, color usage, and remarkable creativity across all platforms.
  • You must reside in the Phoenix, AZ, area to be considered.
