This will include collaborating with clients, contractors, third-party utility stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project needs, maintain a strong client experience, and contribute to business development activities that expand Arcadis' presence in the utilities sector. You will also support the growth of the discipline by mentoring team members, helping build a diverse and capable team, and encouraging continuous learning and innovation.

On major or strategic pursuits, you may also serve as a Design Lead or Technical Director. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with P.Eng. designation, or eligibility for registration, in Alberta or British Columbia

Minimum 10 years of experience in utility design, utility coordination, and relocation planning for infrastructure projects Proven track record in project management, team leadership, and mentoring In-depth knowledge and in depth experience in application of utility design standards, coordination practices, and relevant regulations Experience delivering projects for municipalities and other transportation or transit agencies Proficiency in CAD and design software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other Bentley or Autodesk tools Experience preparing and reviewing preliminary and detailed utility design drawings, reports, and technical memos Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and third-party utility stakeholders, with experience supporting business development and proposal preparation Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience with trenchless methods, construction fieldwork, and familiarity with municipal and road authority standards are considered assets Why Arcadis.
