Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with strong project management capabilities and a proven track record of bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architecting and delivering data platforms, BI solutions, and analytics initiatives, while also driving project delivery, managing stakeholders, and aligning technology solutions to business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and business executives, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Develop and present proposals, solution architectures, and roadmaps to senior stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and alignment.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data warehouses, data lakes, BI dashboards, and advanced analytics solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Guide technical teams in solution design, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and BI development best practices.
  • Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, including data engineers, BI developers, data scientists, and business analysts.
  • Apply project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor and mitigate project risks, escalating as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years in data and analytics (BI, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Data Science).
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or Techno-Functional Lead.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience “selling” and gaining buy-in for technology initiatives with executives and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Data & Analytics platforms and tools (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SQL Server, BigQuery).
  • Hands-on expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based data architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and DevOps principles.
