Job Description:

The Contract Specialist, Consultant will provide acquisition support services to HHS OAMS, assisting with contract planning, solicitation, award, and post-award activities. This role requires a solid understanding of federal procurement regulations and the ability to manage moderately complex contract actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support acquisition lifecycle activities, including market research, solicitation development, and contract administration.
  • Prepare and maintain contract documentation in accordance with OAMS SOPDs.
  • Assist with source selection processes and contract file audits.
  • Coordinate with Contracting Officers and CORs to ensure timely and compliant acquisition execution.
  • Use PRISM and UFMS systems to process acquisition actions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4+ years of federal acquisition experience.
    • Experience supporting the HHS
  • Familiarity with T&M and cost-type contracts.
  • Proficiency with federal acquisition systems and documentation standards.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FAC-C Level II or III certification.
  • Experience supporting HHS or other health-related federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with CPARS, SharePoint, and acquisition dashboards.

Clearance Requirement:

  • None - Clearable US Citizen

  • Primary Location: Remote
  • Onsite Requirements: None; 100% Remote
