MacMore is looking to fill positions for Mid-level Contract Specialist(s) for a pending contact award at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive pre-award acquisition support, including procurement planning, market research, acquisition strategy development, and preparation of solicitation packages.
  • Draft, review, and maintain acquisition documentation such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Invitations for Bids (IFBs), determinations and findings, memoranda, and procurement checklists.
  • Conduct and document market research, analyze historical procurement data, and advise acquisition teams on applicable Federal acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate required reviews and approvals, participate in acquisition planning meetings, and respond to procurement data calls and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare solicitation notices and procurement announcements using federal acquisition systems including SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, GWAC platforms, and other agency procurement portals.
  • Support small business acquisition initiatives by preparing SBA 8(a) offering packages, coordinating with the Small Business Administration, and maintaining required documentation in the Small Business Customer Experience (SBCX) system.
  • Support proposal evaluations by coordinating technical and past performance reviews, assisting evaluation panels, analyzing pricing and business proposals, documenting evaluation results, and supporting negotiations.
  • Prepare contract award documentation, source selection records, Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) reporting, award notices, and debriefing materials for unsuccessful offerors.
  • Provide full lifecycle post-award contract administration support, including contract modifications, option exercise documentation, de-obligations, and administrative contract actions for Fixed-Price and Cost-Reimbursement contracts.
  • Ensure all acquisition actions comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), HHS Acquisition Regulation (HHSAR), agency policies, and applicable procurement procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, with at least five (5) years of experience in cradle-to-grave contracting.
  • Previous ICE (Integrated Contracts Expert) experience is preferred.
  • Current or previous FAC-C Certification or civilian equivalent is required.
