Location: California (Remote)


About the Role

The Cromeens Law Firm, PLLC is seeking an experienced attorney to join the firm as Of Counsel, supporting our construction law practice in California. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who wants the flexibility of an independent practice combined with the resources, caseload, and professional community of an established firm. You'll bring deep legal experience and judgment to select matters, mentor newer attorneys, and help strengthen TCLF's presence in the California construction industry.


What You'll Do:

  • Provide senior-level legal counsel and strategic guidance on complex construction law, lien, and contract matters
  • Handle a select caseload of high-value or high-complexity matters
  • Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations as needed
  • Draft and review contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Mentor and provide guidance to associates and paralegals on construction law matters
  • Support business development through relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in the California construction industry
  • Stay current on California construction law, lien law, and related legal developments
  • Maintain flexibility to manage other professional commitments alongside this role


What We're Looking For:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the State of California, in good standing
  • Significant experience in construction law, litigation, or a closely related practice area (typically 10+ years)
  • Established professional reputation and network within the legal and/or construction community
  • Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal day-to-day supervision


Schedule: Flexible - full-time or part-time availability considered
Location: Remote (California-licensed)
