Job description

Position Title: Marketing Automation Specialist

Location: Washington, DC

Assignment Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00 / Hour

Work Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday onsite; remote exception possible for ideal candidate

Addison Group is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to support our client with email marketing and automation needs of the Society Programs business unit. This role will be on the Marketing Operations, Technology, and Analytics (MOTA) team and provide email, automation, and technology support to a variety of partners across ACS.

Here’s what you will be doing:

●      Deploy ad-hoc and recurring email campaigns for a variety of stakeholders using the Eloqua Marketing Automation Platform.

●       Create and execute automated campaigns based on gathered business requirements.

●     Build emails, landing pages, and forms within Eloqua using WYSIWYG and HTML editors.

●      Use the email review and approval process (test, proof, gather feedback, gain approval).

●       Manage and coordinate the team’s email marketing calendar.

●      Assist with analysis of campaign metrics and provide actional insights to stakeholders.

●       Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience:

●     Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, IT or a related field.

●     Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing or IT with a focus on Marketing Automation.

●     Proficiency with Marketing Automation Platforms (Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, etc.) is a must.

●     Oracle Eloqua proficiency is a major plus.

●     Basic coding experience is a plus (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

●     Working knowledge of major LLMs, including Copilot and Claude, is a plus.

●     Strong process orientation: able to analyze requests, determine scope, research options, recommend a solution, execute in collaboration with IT and/or Digital Platforms teams, and measure project success.

●     High-level written and verbal communication skills are a must.
