Role: CC&B Designer
Location: Remote + Occasional Travel to Chicago, IL/New Jersey (Expenses Paid)
Long Term Contract – W2 Only

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled CC&B Designer with strong hands-on development experience to join our team for a strategic implementation and enhancement project. The ideal candidate will have both technical design expertise and the ability to guide development teams effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Overall IT Experience: 8-10+ Years
  • 5-6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle CC&B, including system design and development.
  • Strong understanding of CC&B modules: Customer Management, Billing, Metering, Payments, and Collections.
  • Experience with Java, Groovy, Oracle Utilities SDK, and configuration tools like ConfigTools and Script Editor.
  • Familiarity with SOAP/REST integrations, WebLogic, and Oracle DB.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering quality solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide remote and onsite teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of Oracle CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) solutions.
  • Perform hands-on configuration and development of CC&B components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Developers to translate business requirements into scalable CC&B solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership to developers by reviewing code, mentoring junior members, and enforcing best practices.
  • Design and document functional/technical specifications, workflows, data models, and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and unit/system testing.
  • Support SIT/UAT cycles and troubleshoot any issues or gaps.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to utility industry standards and compliance requirements.
