Job description

Role: Medical Records Specialist/Clinical Data Abstractor

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Work Environment: 1-week onsite for orientation/training, then transition to fully remote

Equipment: Provided

Description

We are seeking detail-oriented healthcare professionals to support clinical data abstraction and medical record review initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in physician practices, specialty clinics, or healthcare settings who are comfortable navigating EMR systems and interpreting clinical documentation.

Skills:

- Accurately identify, review, and transfer requested patient information/data from one EMR/EHR to the other

- Ability to navigate multiple EMR platforms

- Meet established productivity and quality standards

- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

- Work independently in a remote environment following on-site training

Requirements:

  • Active clinical license or certification such as MA, CNA, LPN, Med Tech, etc
  • Experience working within an EMR/EHR like Epic, Cerner, McKesson, eCW, etc
  • Medical Terminology/Procedure knowledge
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
