Job Description We are seeking a Network / System Engineer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure automation, systems integration, and server administration and a proven ability to design, deliver, and improve reliable infrastructure tools and services. Responsibilities: Translate business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and deployment playbooks in alignment with architecture standards and policies. Conduct on-site evaluations of third-party products for potential adoption. Evaluate and refine reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for fitness of purpose. Develop software and automation to eliminate manual, repeatable, or inefficient processes. Ensure solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards in partnership with Technical Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers. Contribute to functional and non-functional product evaluation criteria across domains. Act as a subject matter expert and consultant across relevant technologies. Promote an inclusive, healthy work environment and help resolve organizational impediments. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years in platform, systems, or infrastructure engineering with emphasis on automation and integration. Hands-on delivery of automated Windows or Linux Server OS provisioning for on-prem or internal cloud environments. Strong Windows or Linux Server administration, including configuration, patching, roles/features, networking, storage, and security. Proficiency in PowerShell, shell scripting, and Python with maintainable automation tooling and workflows. Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, and scripting with Python or equivalent. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, validation, and deployments. Experience integrating provisioning workflows with virtualization, networking, identity, monitoring, and configuration management services. Focus on testing and reliability, including automated integration and validation testing and troubleshooting of complex workflows. Preferred Skills: Automation for large-scale cloud deployments.
