Title: Electrical Controls Designer / Design Engineer

Job Summary
The Design Engineer is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining electrical control system schematics and hardware designs for project-based applications. This role supports the development of electrical control systems through schematic design, CAD drawing creation, BOM development, and collaboration with engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of interpreting electrical schematics, relay logic, and PLC I/O systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical control system schematics and hardware layouts.
  • Create, modify, and maintain electrical CAD drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or similar Smart CAD software.
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Read, interpret, and revise electrical schematics, relay logic diagrams, and PLC input/output documentation.
  • Support project teams in coordinating design activities and meeting project requirements.
  • Review engineering requirements and assist with estimating project timelines and efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues
  • Collaborate with local and global engineering teams on project execution.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to Design Electrical Controls (schematics and Hardware designs).
  • Read and understand Electrical Schematics, Relay logic, and PLC inputs/outputs.
  • Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
  • Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
  • Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of computer development software across multiple platforms. AutoCAD Electrical is the designing tool with preference experience of deigning
