  • Develop and review single-line diagrams, elementary diagrams, wiring diagrams, layout schematics, and circuitry designs.

  • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior engineers, designers, and drafters on design details, calculations, and drawing preparation.

  • Assist with the on-site checkout, testing, and startup of electrical systems when necessary.

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with plant operating personnel, design engineering teams, and vendor representatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 10+ years of professional engineering experience in electrical design or a related field.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in electrical engineering design principles, preferably with direct experience in power plant / generating station electrical systems.

  • Initiative: Proven track record as a self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute engineering deliverables independently.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or an advanced degree in Engineering.

  • Working knowledge or hands-on design experience with control systems.

  • Experience performing electrical power system calculations using ETAP software.

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and CAD Overlay.
