Job description

Position Summary

The Project Manager will develop, implement, and oversee tenant improvement projects and related activities supporting office and laboratory operations. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, internal teams, and external consultants, including architects, engineers, construction managers, and contractors, to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in facilities, engineering, and construction to ensure regulatory compliance and effective project execution.

Required Competencies: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong project management skills with proven experience managing tenant improvement projects, particularly office and research/laboratory spaces within regulated environments.

  • Experience developing and managing project schedules, budgets, work breakdown structures (WBS), action trackers, and meeting documentation.

  • Understanding of GLP, environmental, regulatory, and OSHA requirements related to engineering, facilities operations, and construction.

  • Knowledge of financial management, including capital and expense spending, purchase orders, invoicing, and project cash flow forecasting.

  • Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, from scope development through execution and closeout.

  • Ability to lead project teams and drive decision-making while engaging key stakeholders and business partners.

  • Broad understanding of pharmaceutical facility requirements and architecture/engineering best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of office and laboratory environments, HVAC systems, building controls, critical utilities, and security systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and construction drawings.

  • Familiarity with construction terminology, contract administration, and project logistics.
