Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Acts as Blattner's designated contracts-related point of contact on high value customer contracts during the full project lifecycle. Facilitates contract review, edits, and negotiation of customer contracts as a part of Blattner's cross functional team during the planning stage. Handles customer contract administration and compliance during the execution and closeout stages of assigned projects.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

  • Provides contract and exhibit review and coordination of customer contracts during the bid phase. Collaborates with estimating, engineering, operations and in-house attorneys to support contract and exhibit revisions for each project bid submittal.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with and delivers outstanding service to Blattner's customers. Acts as Blattner's primary point of contact on customer contracts during the negotiation phase as a part of Blattner's cross-functional negotiation team including estimating, engineering, operations, in-house attorneys, and other stakeholders within Blattner's organization.
  • Guides contract and exhibit review and supports negotiations with Blattner's customers on awarded projects through contract execution. Ensures alignment between Blattner's negotiation team and its customers on contract and exhibit status through regular communication and maintenance of the contract and exhibit status tracker.
  • Reviews and analyzes potential risks involved with assigned customer contract terms and exhibits. Identifies potential risks, scope gaps, and alignment issues prior to customer contract execution.

  • Related Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combinations of education (i.e. associate degree) and experience.
  • Contracting exposure.
