Location: Rockford, Illinois

Pay Rate: $1,800 To $2,160/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Experience: Minimum 2 Years of ICU & Cardiac Nursing Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Rockford, Illinois. This Float Pool position provides nursing care across ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Medical-Surgical units. The ideal candidate has strong critical care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the flexibility to work in multiple acute care settings while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care across ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Med-Surg units.

  • Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.

  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC while following patient safety and quality care standards.

Requirements
  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU and Cardiac nursing experience required.

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

  • Ability to float between ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Med-Surg units.
