Job description

Our Civil Group in Austin, TX, is looking to add an experienced Mechanical Project Superintendent to its team.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage daily field operations for water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects.
  • Supervise self-perform crews and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.
  • Plan and sequence work activities, manpower, materials, and site logistics.
  • Oversee utility installations, process piping, mechanical systems, and equipment setting.
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards.
  • Monitor production, maintain project schedules, and document daily field activities.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to support field execution.
  • Support startup, testing, punch list, and project closeout activities.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of construction leadership experience required.
  • Experience with water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects required.
  • Experience with utility work, process piping, mechanical installations, and equipment setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
  • OSHA 30 certification and Procore experience preferred.
