Role: Oracle Fusion SCM & Finance Functional Consultant

Location: Houston TX.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM & Finance Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation initiatives across Supply Chain and Finance. The role will bridge business requirements and Oracle Fusion capabilities, owning functional solution design, cross-module process architecture, testing, integrations, deployment, and stakeholder management.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Oracle Fusion SCM expertise, broad understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials, and experience across implementation and testing lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering, discovery workshops, business process mapping, and fit-gap analysis.
  • Define current-state and future-state processes and translate them into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Own functional solution design across SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management and Finance integration.
  • Provide guidance on Oracle standard functionality, best practices, configuration, and appropriate customization.
  • Identify cross-module dependencies, integration impacts, risks, and solution trade-offs.
  • Lead SIT, UAT, end-to-end, regression and integration testing activities.
  • Coordinate defect triage, root-cause analysis, fix validation, regression testing, and business sign-off.
  • Support data migration, reconciliation, cutover, go-live, production validation and hypercare.
  • Lead stakeholder discussions, solution reviews and functional workstreams, mentor consultants and business users.

Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Expertise

Strong functional expertise across:

  • Procurement, Self-Service Procurement, Purchasing and Sourcing.
  • Supplier Portal, Supplier Registration, Supplier Qualification and Supplier Lifecycle Management.
  • Inventory Management, Receiving, Item Master, PIM and Cost Management.
  • Order Management, Order Orchestration, Pricing, GOP / Available-to-Promise, Drop Ship and Back-to-Back Fulfilment.
  • Supply Planning, Demand Management and Manufacturing.
  • Warehouse Management, Transportation Management / OTM, Logistics and Fulfilment.

Oracle Fusion Finance & Cross-Functional Expertise

  • GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, SLA, Tax, Intercompany Accounting and Financial Reporting.
  • Strong understanding of SCM Finance integration and accounting impacts.
  • End-to-end P2P, S2P, O2C, R2R, Inventory-to-Cost and Demand-to-Fulfilment processes.

Testing & Quality Engineering

  • Functional Testing, SIT, UAT, E2E Business Process Testing, Regression, Smoke and Sanity Testing.
  • Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Scenario / Test Case Design and RTM.
  • Defect Management, defect triage, root-cause analysis and fix validation.
  • Release readiness, production validation, go-live support and hypercare.

Integration, Data & Reporting

Have knowledge on:

  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
  • FBDI, ADFDI and functional data migration validation.
  • Inbound/outbound interface testing, source-to-target mapping and reconciliation.
  • OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Center and Oracle Analytics.
  • Implementation Lifecycle
  • Requirements Fit-Gap Solution Design CRP Configuration SIT UAT Cutover Go-Live Production Validation Hypercare Continuous Improvement

Stakeholder & Leadership

  • Act as a functional consultant to business process owners and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate SCM, Finance, QA, Integration, Data and Technical teams.
  • Manage functional workstreams, stakeholder expectations and business sign-offs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Certification.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Certification.
  • Experience with global / multi-business-unit ERP transformation programs.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly release management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional SCM, Finance, Testing and Integration teams.
