Job description

SCM Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM SaaS Functional Consultant to lead and support the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion SCM solutions. You will partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, configure Fusion SCM modules, support integrations and testing, and provide post-go-live support. This role requires strong functional expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience working with distributed teams in an agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into Oracle Fusion SCM functional designs.
  2. Configure and support Oracle Fusion SCM modules (based on scope), including:
    1. Order Management (OM)
    2. Inventory Management (INV)
    3. Procurement (Purchasing, Supplier Management, Self-Service Procurement)
    4. Receiving
    5. Warehouse Management (as applicable)
    6. Manufacturing (as applicable)
    7. Product Information Management (PIM) (as applicable)
    8. Planning / Supply Planning (as applicable)
  1. Drive fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional documentation:
    1. Functional Design Documents (FDD)
    2. Setup/configuration workbooks
    3. Test scripts and traceability matrices
  1. Support and coordinate integrations and downstream/upstream systems:
    1. Work with technical teams on OIC, REST/SOAP services, FBDI, and other inbound/outbound interfaces.
  1. Lead and execute testing efforts:
    1. Unit testing, SIT, UAT support, defect triage, and resolution coordination
  1. Support data conversion and migration activities, including mapping and validation.
  2. Provide training, knowledge transfer, and end-user support materials.
  3. Assist with cutover planning and post-go-live hypercare support.
  4. Work effectively with offshore/onshore teams, ensuring clear alignment, progress tracking, and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant (SaaS/Cloud).
  2. Hands-on experience with at least two Oracle Fusion SCM modules (OM, INV, Procurement, Receiving, WMS, Manufacturing, PIM, Planning).
  3. Strong knowledge of SCM end-to-end business processes (Lead-to-Order, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Inventory/Warehouse execution).
  4. Experience with integration touchpoints and data loads using FBDI/ADFdi, and ability to partner with technical teams on APIs/OIC.
  5. Proven experience facilitating workshops with business stakeholders and producing high-quality functional documentation.
  6. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
