Job description

Job Title: Oracle Fusion Consultant – SCM / Procurement
Location: Brentwood, TN (Hybrid: Onsite M/T/Th)
Employment Type: Contract (12+ Months)
Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder

Position Overview

Client is undertaking a major multi-year Oracle Fusion implementation beginning January 2026. This program represents a significant modernization of our enterprise financial and supply chain systems and will require experienced functional consultants to support the Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Procurement modules.

The Oracle Fusion SCM/Procurement Consultant will play a key functional role in system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. This position requires a strong hands-on background with Oracle Fusion Procurement Cloud and the ability to partner with business stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional design and hands-on configuration in Oracle Fusion Procurement and related SCM modules.
  • Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and translate needs into clear, actionable system specifications.
  • Support cross-functional design efforts with Finance, HCM, and technical integration teams.
  • Execute system testing activities, including SIT and UAT, defect tracking, and resolution.
  • Assist with data validation, cutover preparation, and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Provide functional support for integrations leveraging OIC, REST APIs, and other enterprise tools as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and improved end-user experience within the Procurement workstream.
  • Contribute to project governance documentation, milestone reviews, and design approvals.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM, with deep expertise in Procurement Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring Procurement modules, workflows, approval rules, and related functional components.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business processes into system design.
  • Experience supporting SIT/UAT testing, configuration remediation, and production support.
  • Understanding of integrations (OIC, REST, data migration) preferred.
  • Proven success working in large-scale ERP implementations or upgrade programs.

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications (SCM or Procurement) a plus but not required.
