The Opportunity:
CACI has an opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst (SLA) with experience in Food Service Management to provide management certification (SMC) and training efforts at ATG Norfolk (ATGN) under our USFFC Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) program in Norfolk, VA.
Ideal position for a former Navy Culinary Specialist (CS) (E6-Above)
Responsibilities::
  • In depth database analysis of logistics data in Food Service Management (FSM) AIS for Force/Unit Level
  • Technical support to supply assist visits and inspections in response to the Fleet Readiness Plan (FRP)
  • Subject matter expert support for revision of TYCOM policies and instructions.
  • Determine training needs and resources necessary for developing and presenting Food Service Management (FSM) training courses.
  • Conduct analysis of food service operations, records and returns, sanitation, and food preparation procedures to correct functional and operational deficiencies.
  • Develop, analyze, and prepare follow-up reports to evaluate effectiveness of food service operations.
  • Assist/train ships in day-to-day food service operations and review FSM records monthly for Norfolk ships

Qualifications:
  • Must have a current DOD SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline. As a substitute for the degree, eight years of hands-on experience in a combination of Navy Food Service and Navy Food Service AIS is acceptable. Training related to the degree substitute provided at Navy schools is considered hands on experience.
  • In addition to any experience that is substituted for education, must have eight years of experience in a combination of food service and AIS management
  • Experience with FSM and other related Food management programs, Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and NMCI
