Scope of Project:
The Tester Expert acting as QA tester will lead testing efforts for WCB applications/projects including P4 eCase/CIS Modernization, P2 eForms, and P5 ECR/ORPS Modernization to uncover and investigate defects, identify root causes, generate reports, and share findings with WCB ITS Business Solutions and other stakeholders. The consultant will assess the overall quality of applications by performing manual, automated, and performance testing using various QA tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain Test plans, Test strategy documents, Test scripts, Tests, Test scenarios, and Test matrices for WCB Applications.
  • Perform Test and Defect Management using tools like HP ALM and/or JIRA.
  • Assist and provide QA activities through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure testing milestones and dates are met.
  • Perform Test execution, analyze test results, and prepare testing reports.
  • Estimate testing effort for projects and provide accurate estimations.
  • Create and execute automated test cases and regression suites using UFT (Unified Functional Testing), Selenium, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Perform back-end testing, data validation, data analysis, data migration, and execute SQL queries.
  • Perform integration testing and execute automation suites using CI/CD tools.
  • Perform Web Services testing using SOAP UI, Postman, REST Assured, and Java.
  • Use JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad to create performance test plans, scripts, and test data while analyzing bottlenecks, baselines, and scalability.
  • Develop automation scripts for native mobile applications using Appium.
  • Perform Accessibility Testing using ADA Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 compliance tools.
  • Perform script updates and maintenance using Java, VB, and JScript.

Required Skills:
  • 84 months of experience creating and executing automated test scripts and comprehensive functional and regression test suites using Selenium or Cypress with scalable automation frameworks.
  • 84 months of experience performing performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, and NeoLoad including bottleneck analysis, scalability testing, baseline testing, and performance scripting.
  • 36 months of experience performing Web Services testing using SOAP UI, Postman API testing tools, and REST Assured.
  • 36 months of experience as a SQL and database migration tester with back-end testing expertise specializing in data validation, SQL query development, ensuring data integrity, and supporting seamless system migrations.
  • Experience with HP ALM and JIRA.
  • Experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
