RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking an experienced Brand Merchandising 3 Professional to support merchandising strategy, assortment planning, and business performance initiatives.
Summary:
This role will focus on leveraging marketplace insights, consumer trends, and business analytics to help shape product and merchandising strategies that drive growth and enhance the customer experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with strategic thinking and has experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver successful merchandising outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Analyze marketplace trends, consumer insights, and business performance data to support merchandising strategies and product assortments
* Develop and maintain strategic assortment and line plans aligned with business objectives and customer needs
* Partner with cross-functional teams including product development, planning, marketing, operations, and finance to drive execution of merchandising initiatives
* Monitor and evaluate key merchandising performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
* Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to inform recommendations and business decisions
* Support seasonal planning processes and assortment optimization efforts
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and effectively influence decision-making across teams
* Identify emerging market opportunities and contribute to long-term business strategies
* Present findings, recommendations, and business insights to internal partners and leadership
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field; Or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 5+ years of merchandising, assortment planning, product management, retail strategy, or related experience
* Experience supporting consumer products, retail, apparel, footwear, hardgoods, or related industries preferred
* Strong understanding of retail performance metrics, sales reporting, inventory management, and profitability drivers
* Demonstrated ability to develop strategic recommendations based on data and market insights
* Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
* Experience balancing business objectives with customer and market needs
* Self-motivated with strong organizational and project management skills
* Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing needs, and drive results
* Demonstrated adaptability, curiosity, and continuous improvement mindset
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with assortment planning, category management, or merchandising strategy
* Familiarity with consumer insights, market research, and trend analysis
* Experience working with cross-functional business teams and influencing stakeholders
* Advanced proficiency in data analysis and business reporting tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
