Revolution Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.

Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical RN – Georgia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 38-bed Medical/Surgical unit with remote telemetry monitoring. Every other weekend required. No call required.

Highlights:

  • Medical/Surgical unit with remote telemetry and diverse patient diagnoses serving adolescents through geriatrics
  • Average daily census of 33 patients on a 38-bed unit with consistent staffing ratios
  • Epic charting system required; Pyxis and SBAR protocols in use
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, lift teams, and more
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4-12)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • Skills required: Med/Surg care, use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration and tanks, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions/PPE
