The Technical Writer - General QMS (Contract) will perform technical writing and client support on a site readiness project authoring a range of engineering, compliance, and commercialization Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities:
  • Technical writing may include any of the following focus areas:
    1. Manufacturing equipment and processes
    2. Quality Control Laboratory instruments and methods
    3. Utility systems
    4. Facilities and maintenance equipment
    5. Logistics and warehousing processes
    6. Quality Assurance processes
    7. Environment, Health, and Safety processes
    8. Warehouse and Supply Chain
    9. Information Technology
    10. Training content.

Educational Background:
  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline (prefer Biomedical, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering) or other STEM discipline (Biology, Chemistry, other) from an accredited institution or equivalent.

Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in development and/or manufacturing in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, combination product, and/or medical device sectors is required.
  • Senior level 8-15 years of experience in technical writing within the Pharma, Medical Device, or BioTech industries is desired.

Compensation:
