Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in or around Spokane Valley, WA.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:        

  • Weld mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum according to blueprints
  • Inspect welded parts for accuracy and quality
  • Follow all OSHA and WISHA safety requirements
  • Operate a forklift as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
  • Communicate machinery or quality issues to management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions to complete assignments

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficient in shop math and problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Physically capable of regularly lifting up to 30 lbs and frequently up to 50 lbs
  • Must pass weld check
