Join Us on a PurposeDriven Mission to Serve and Advance the Gospel - Marketing Project Management Lead Wanted!

The North American Mission Board (NAMB) is a faithbased, nonprofit organization committed to gospelcentered restoration and churchfocused ministry across North America. As the Marketing Project Management Lead in Alpharetta, you will proactively manage marketing projects from intake through delivery, strengthen relationships with ministry partners, coordinate vendors and production, and ensure marketing work advances NAMB's mission. Your leadership will enable highquality, timely communications that support church engagement and gospelcentered ministry.

About the Role

This position will support NAMB's ministry objectives by serving as the primary project manager for assigned marketing brand teams. You will translate strategy into clear project plans, manage timelines and resources, liaise between ministry partners and creative teams, steward vendor and procurement processes, and track outcomes to drive continuous improvement. You will work closely with the Marketing Strategist, ministry partners, and the Research & Marketing team to deliver contextualized, missionfocused marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects endtoend: manage intake, scope, timelines, resources, approvals, and delivery.
  • Serve as project manager for an assigned marketing brand team.
  • Partner with the Marketing Strategist to translate strategy into actionable project plans using projectmanagement best practices and approved software.
  • Act as liaison between ministry partners and the marketing team, provide clear objectives, context, and direction to minimize rework.
  • Develop detailed project briefs defining scope, tactics, deliverables, approvals, and success criteria.

  • Build and manage vendor relationships, coordinate with Procurement for timely work orders and production readiness.
  • Ensure invoices are processed accurately and timely.
  • Assist in the organization and upkeep of approved projectmanagement and marketing support software (Asana familiarity preferred).
  • Evaluate project outcomes, document lessons learned and implement process improvements.
  • Contribute creative and practical solutions to scope and execution challenges.
  • Provide administrative support and contribute to additional team initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience; or three or more years' related experience and/or training.
  • 3+ years project management experience in marketing or related fields preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop project briefs, manage timelines, and deliver projects on schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Experience with vendor coordination, procurement processes, and invoice management.
  • Proficiency with, or willingness to learn, projectmanagement software (Asana preferred).
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work onsite in Alpharetta for collaboration and event/production coordination; ability to perform light physical tasks associated with events.
  • Demonstrates a mature Christian walk rooted in Scripture, prayer, and active church involvement; alignment with Baptist theology and NAMB's statement of faith.

Work Environment & Flexibility

This position requires onsite presence in Alpharetta for team collaboration, events, and production coordination; hybrid flexibility may be granted as determined by leadership. Occasional extended hours may be required for event support and deadlines.

Physical & Personal Qualities

  • Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, and perform light physical activity associated with events and production.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Warm, positive personality with integrity, energy, and genuine interest in ministry service.
  • Enjoys healthy, affirming relationships and exhibits modest deportment and sound personal finances.
  • Active involvement in a local Southern Baptist church and a heart for sharing Christ.
