We have an opportunity for a full time Operations Intern at our HQ in Kearneysville, West Virginia.

Location: Randox Laboratories, 515 Industrial Blvd, Kearneysville, WV 25430, United States.

 

Contract Offered: Full time (40 hours per week), Initially a 6-month fixed-term contract with a view to permanency.

 

Working Hours / Shifts:  Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5.00 pm


What does this role involve?

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with contract management tasks, including organizing vendor agreements, docketing key dates, and maintaining contract documentation
  • Support facilities management activities, such as coordinating maintenance requests, tracking service schedules, and assisting with vendor communications
  • Help collect, track, and report key performance indicator (KPI) data related to logistics, shipping, and operational efficiency
  • Support order processing, fulfilment and scheduling, ensuring alignment between production timelines, inventory availability, and shipment dates
  • Help prepare and maintain order expenditure and cost tracking reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Maintain accurate records on department quality reporting and ensure all activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Identify opportunities for improving processes and data tracking efficiency
  • Support development and implementation as coordinated by the Operations Manager


Essential Requirements:

 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with data and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, and reporting)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
  • Basic understanding of operations, logistics, or business processes
  • High level of accuracy and accountability when handling data and records
  • Willingness to learn operational systems and processes

 

Desirable:

 

  • Exposure to ERP systems, contract management tools, or facilities tracking systems
  • Analytical mindset with interest in operational performance metrics
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, responsive to feedback
