Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Contract Managers with strong Business Affairs and contract management experience. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and hands-on experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing a high volume of commercial contracts and agreements.

This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide legal and business analysis, support contract negotiations, identify risks, and ensure contracts are managed effectively and within required deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate various types of commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Work with Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), vendor agreements, purchase agreements, proposals, templates, and related documents.
  • Perform legal and contractual analysis and identify potential risks and obligations.
  • Develop and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner and interface with internal business, legal, procurement, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage a high volume of contracts while meeting strict deadlines and business requirements.
  • Track contract status, obligations, approvals, renewals, and other key milestones.
  • Support contract negotiations and resolve contractual issues with internal and external parties.
  • Ensure contracts are properly reviewed, documented, executed, and maintained.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding contractual terms, requirements, and potential risks.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree โ€“ Mandatory
  • Strong experience in contract management / business affairs.
  • Hands-on experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Experience with MSAs, SOWs, vendor/purchase agreements, proposals, and contract templates.
  • Strong legal analysis and risk mitigation skills.
  • Experience managing a high volume of contracts with competing deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with legal, business, procurement, and other internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Location

  • Dallas, TX candidates are strongly preferred.
  • This is an onsite 5 days/week position at 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX 75202.
  • Local Texas candidates must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
