The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from proposal development and negotiation to administration and close-out. This role ensures compliance with all contractual terms and conditions while mitigating risk and supporting program objectives. The Contracts Manager will collaborate across departments, manage subcontractor agreements, and monitor contract performance to ensure successful execution.
 
This position is contingent on successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract lifecycle, including negotiation, administration, and close-out.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with contract specifications, terms, and conditions.
  • Assist with cost and price analysis during proposal development.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align contractual obligations with program goals.
  • Prepare and manage subcontractor agreements and monitor performance.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks through proactive management.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting for audits and reviews.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contract Management, or related field.
  • Experience in contract administration within aerospace, defense, or government contracting.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, risk management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Background:

  • NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM).
  • Experience managing complex government contracts and subcontractor agreements.
  • Familiarity with cost / price analysis and proposal development processes.
