We are seeking an Administrative Support Officer - Developmental to provide mission-critical administrative and customer support services for a key U.S. Government customer.
We are seeking an Administrative Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to customers across the organization by managing specialized customer requirements, coordinating complex support activities, and ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of mission support functions. The Administrative Support Officer will support business operations through process improvement initiatives, documentation management, customer training, and effective communication while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
The Administrative Support Officer shall possess the following capabilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for specialized customer requests and manage end-to-end administrative support activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to customers on specialized administrative processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve complex customer issues by coordinating across multiple functional areas and applying creative problem-solving techniques.
  • Prioritize and manage high volumes of transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.
  • Analyze workflow processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the development and delivery of customer training on work unit processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and customer support.
  • Manage the intake, processing, tracking, and deconfliction of forms, requests, and authorization documentation in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and hard-copy records in accordance with established records management requirements.
  • Draft, edit, and review reports, official correspondence, memoranda, and other business documentation for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with government personnel and internal teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and leadership, providing timely updates on work status, issues, and recommended solutions.
  • Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing administrative, operational, or customer support services, preferably supporting Government customers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, exercise sound judgment, and recommend practical solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
Pay Range: $70,464 - $83,240
