Job description

M&K Truck Centers is one of the largest regional commercial truck dealerships in the Midwest, providing industry-leading transportation solutions for medium and heavy-duty fleets. We are seeking a driven Account Executive - Truck Leasing to join our growing leasing team.

As a Commercial Truck Lease Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and growing revenue through full-service lease, contract maintenance, and commercial truck rental solutions. This is an outside sales role focused on helping fleet customers improve operations through strategic truck leasing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and secure new commercial truck leasing, rental, and contract maintenance opportunities within an assigned territory.

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow market share and increase fleet leasing revenue.

  • Extend and renew existing lease agreements before or upon contract expiration.

  • Identify customer transportation needs and recommend appropriate leasing, rental, and maintenance solutions.

  • Develop proposals including pricing, availability, product applications, and credit terms.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial truck leasing customers.

  • Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for additional fleet services and equipment.

  • Consistently meet or exceed lease and rental sales goals.

  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects through networking, cold calling, referrals, and territory development.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business preferred.

  • Three years of business to business sales experience.

  • Two or more years of leasing and rental sales, experience or sales support role with high level exposure to customers, preferably in a transportation-selling environment.

  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

  • Skilled in the operation of a variety of computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Hold a strong knowledge of commercial trucks.
