As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. At Kuehne+Nagel, our work truly contributes to more than we imagine.

As a Quality Specialist, you will report to the Site Manager. You will help determine the methods, operations, sequences, and setups to perform inspections. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, From 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. This role pays $20.00 per hour.

How you create impact

Read and understand documents and processes and apply to manufacturing and inspection

Read blueprints and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

Conduct department audits, ensure current documentation is in use and certification (calibration) of all tooling and test equipment is current

Use a variety of instruments such as bore gauge, air gauge, profilometer, micrometer, caliper, and comparator

Create inspection reports and corrective action requests

Demonstrate active commitment to QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) standards

Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations

Work overtime and weekends

What we would like you to bring

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years' experience as a Quality Specialist, Coordinator, Auditor, or Inspector

Experience handling multiple, simultaneous tasks

Understanding of quality systems requirements such as AS9120 and ISO 9001
