As a Technical Recruiter, you'll join a dynamic team committed to strengthening the world's energy systems to make them more resilient, efficient, and reliable.

Based at our global headquarters in Houston, TX, the Technical Recruiter will partner with engineering and operations teams, drive full-cycle recruitment efforts, support rapid team growth, and maintain rigorous standards across all hiring processes. This multidisciplinary role ideally requires expertise in sourcing hard-to-find technical talent, managing candidate pipelines, and applying data-driven evaluation methods. This is a 3-4 month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy & Execution:
    • Leads full-cycle recruiting across various business units, including engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.
    • Partners with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, define job requirements, and build effective recruiting strategies.
    • Manages candidate sourcing through a variety of channels including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
    • Screens, interviews, and evaluates candidates, providing timely feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
    • Tracks and reports on recruitment metrics to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of hiring processes.
  • Program Development:
    • Develops and implements recruitment programs, such as university relations, internships, and apprenticeship initiatives.
    • Creates and executes diversity recruitment strategies to ensure a broad, inclusive candidate pool.
    • Leads employer branding initiatives and ensure MetOx's value proposition is communicated effectively to prospective candidates.
  • Partnership & Relationship Building:
    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with external partners, including university career centers, industry organizations, and recruiting agencies.
    • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to foster a positive hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Continuous Improvement & Industry Knowledge:
    • Stays informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
    • Recommends and implements process improvements to streamline recruitment and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with prior experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and implementing recruitment programs, such as university relations or community outreach.
  • Prior experience working with technical or engineering roles in high-tech, manufacturing, or R&D environments.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven approach with a passion for finding and attracting top talent.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for tracking and reporting on recruitment metrics.
  • Knowledge of current recruitment trends, including best practices in sourcing, diversity hiring, and employer branding.
