Schedule: Night Shift | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Labor & Delivery contract opportunity in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby services while collaborating with the obstetric care team to deliver safe, high-quality maternal and newborn care in an acute care hospital setting.
ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby patients throughout the continuum of care.
Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based practices.
Assist with vaginal deliveries and provide circulating support during Cesarean section procedures as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, neonatal staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize maternal and newborn outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and quality initiatives.
RequirementsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery and postpartum nursing experience required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
Experience circulating for Cesarean sections required; NICU and pediatric experience preferred.
Ability to work night shifts, holiday coverage, and meet performance expectations throughout the assignment.
