Description:
The IT Project and Deployment Coordinator role within the ITG (Information Technology Group) is responsible for coordinating assigned IT projects, deployments and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, facilitates project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables.  Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Principles and practices of project coordination/management.
  • Requirements gathering.
  • Financial management.
  • Procurement rules and regulations.
  • Software products to aid in your management of projects.
  • Experience with managing technical resources and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure with an emphasis on technology development/deployment.
  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent technical writing, reviewing and editing skills.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to apply industry-standard project management best practices.
