Job description

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a procurement analyst responsible for supporting sourcing projects, placing buys, costing, and supplier management within the sourcing and procurement organization.

PGW Auto Glass is the most comprehensive distributor of automotive replacement glass, specialty parts, shop accessories, and digital services, including exact-match VIN decoding and Installer Business Services in North America. The company operates over 130 branches throughout the U.S. and Canada. Offering same-day and overnight deliveries, PGW Auto Glass serves OEM dealerships, collision repair shops, and automotive glass installers.

Your Seat at the Table

· Contribute to the development of improved strategic sourcing strategies

· Leverage the organization’s buying power to optimize costs, access new suppliers, reduce lead times, and guarantee supply

· Provide research and input into the financial sourcing aspects of contracts and calls for tender when information is not readily available

· Maintain knowledge of various market trends and recommend sourcing strategies for the market

· Administer performance metrics such as delivery time, price variances

· Assistance with requests for Quotes, Bid Analysis, Volume Tracking for Rebates and against contracts

· Ensure balanced inventory buys and balanced flow across all facilities relative to regional demand

· Work with cross-functional teams for optimal plan integration and contract transitions

· Update and maintain master data

· Provide miscellaneous data analyses (including various ad hoc analyses as needed), data extraction, reports, and improvements to administrative processes to improve overall Supply Chain efficiency

· Assume other duties as assigned

· Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%).

What You Bring to the Table

· BS Degree preferred

· 2-5 years of experience in Procurement, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain or related fields

· Data analysis experience

· Ability to work independently and make informed decisions

· Strong analytical and Microsoft Office software skills

· Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.

· Ability to adapt well to change

· Strong attention to detail
