Job description

Job Responsibility: Maintains, designs, implements, and supports the corporate infrastructure by identifying requirements, installing upgrades, troubleshooting, and monitoring performance.
Job Duties:
  • Responsible for management, maintenance and architecture of storage, virtualized environment, servers, network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN,QoS), telecommunications, and productivity tools
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
  • Monitor systems and identify performance issues, proactively ensures system availability and reliability
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Provide Tier- 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues for internal and external customers
  • Professionally represent the infrastructure team as a technical consultant on projects.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team
  • Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications
  • Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors and contract consultants
  • Maintain good working relationships with all service providers and vendor to ensure that services received meet expected requirements of contract
  • Responsible for project management and implementation of corporate infrastructure capex projects with limited supervision.
  • Ability to be on call for emergencies

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science/Technology
  • 5 years of infrastructure and network experience in a corporate environment

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of network software and current operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and be attentive to details
  • Problem solving, planning, ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Good Verbal and Communication Skills
