Job description

Business Development Manager

Bloom Partners Talent Solutions – Atlanta, GA, United States
Company: A Privately Owned Commercial Landscape Construction Organization
Location: Greater Atlanta, GA

Recruiter: Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a growing commercial landscape construction company seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new revenue growth across the Atlanta market. With strong operational capacity and established GC relationships, the organization is ready for a dedicated hunter who can expand its construction footprint and build long-term strategic partnerships.

Drive Growth. Build Relationships. Win the Right Work.

This is a revenue-first leadership role focused on generating and closing commercial landscape construction opportunities. You will be the first dedicated business development hire for the construction division, operating with leadership support and the autonomy to build a book of business.

This is not an account management role.
This is not a maintenance sales position.
This is a true hunter role built around pipeline creation, strategic relationships, and contract awards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new commercial landscape construction opportunities throughout the greater Atlanta region
  • Develop and manage a targeted prospect pipeline from initial outreach through contract award
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial property stakeholders
  • Represent the organization at industry associations and networking events (ABC, BOMA, etc.)
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams on proposals, bids, and RFP responses
  • Track and manage opportunities through CRM or pipeline reporting tools
  • Provide competitive intelligence on market trends, pricing, and regional activity
  • Contribute to long-term revenue growth initiatives aligned with company expansion goals

What Success Looks Like:

  • Consistent generation of qualified construction opportunities
  • $5M–$10M+ in annual sold revenue
  • Strong GC and developer relationships producing repeat work
  • A predictable, well-managed pipeline with clear forecasting
  • Strategic market positioning within the Atlanta commercial construction community

Qualifications:

  • 3–7+ years of business development or sales experience within commercial landscape construction or related commercial construction industries
  • Proven track record of generating $5M–$10M+ in annual sold revenue
  • Experience managing full sales cycle, including RFP processes and proposal development
  • Existing or developable relationships with general contractors and developers
  • Self-starter with a true hunter mentality and ability to build business independently
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Preferred:

  • Existing relationships within the Atlanta / Southeast commercial construction market
  • Experience selling landscape construction or sitework packages ($20K–$2M+ projects)
  • Active involvement in industry associations such as ABC, BOMA, or similar

Built for Growth. Structured for Performance.

This organization is stable, profitable, and privately owned — with no private equity ownership. With in-house crews and subcontractor capacity capable of scaling significant monthly install revenue, leadership is committed to investing in the right person to drive construction growth. You will have autonomy, authority, and direct impact on revenue expansion.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000
  • Commission: Earned on sold and collected revenue
  • Benefits Package
  • Expense Account and Association/Membership Support

This role is structured to reward performance, with strong commission upside for high producers.

How to Apply:

If you are a proven construction hunter ready to drive meaningful revenue growth in the Atlanta market, please email tito@getbloomtalent.com.
