Job description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a strategic partner to the Legal Department and Global Compliance leadership, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Lead the analysis and interpretation of legal and compliance data; generate actionable insights and reports to inform business decisions and risk management.

Oversee the maintenance of due diligence records and departmental files, ensuring compliance with record retention policies and audit readiness.

Collaborate with sales, procurement, HR, and operations to drive contract compliance and support the execution of complex agreements.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures and templates for legal and compliance functions.

Own and optimize legal operations systems (e.g., TeamConnect, Salesforce), including matter management, reporting, and user support.

Spearhead the design and implementation of system enhancements, partnering with IT and business stakeholders to develop interactive dashboards that provide real-time insights into compliance status and contract lifecycle management.

Translate evolving business needs into technical requirements for legal operations platforms; ensure data integrity in partnership with IT and external vendors.

Design and deliver training programs; manage legal operations resources, including SharePoint and knowledge management sites.

Proactively identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and advance a culture of compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in library sciences, business administration, data science, or a related field required. Candidates with an associate's degree in paralegal science or a paralegal certificate and 12 or more years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Years of Experience: 10 years of experience in legal operations, compliance, paralegal, or contract administration required.
  • Software Knowledge: Proficient in Salesforce, TeamConnect, and MS Office Suite.
  • Additional Requirements: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence at multiple organizational levels. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
