What is a contract house?

Contract houses, also known as contract staffing agencies or contract employment firms, are organizations that hire employees to work on temporary assignments or projects for client companies. These agencies handle the recruitment, hiring, and payroll processes, while workers are placed at client sites for a set duration or until a project is completed. Contract houses provide flexibility for both employees, who may seek varied work experiences, and companies, which benefit from scalable staffing solutions. They are commonly used in industries like IT, engineering, healthcare, and administration.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in contract management within the housing industry?

Professionals in contract management for the housing industry often encounter challenges such as navigating complex regulatory requirements, ensuring all parties comply with contractual obligations, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication with various stakeholders—such as property owners, contractors, legal teams, and government agencies—is essential. Additionally, adapting to changing client needs and market conditions requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills to deliver successful outcomes.

Organize and track legal documents, key terms, and contract renewals with precision
Partner with external counsel (US and international) on specialized legal matters as needed

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to assess legal risk and offer clear, business-minded solutions
Experience working independently and advising cross-functional teams
Experience working with and managing outside counsel
Background in data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) and artificial intelligence

Preferred
Background in employment law and intellectual property
Experience supporting global operations or international contracts
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management or legal operations platforms (or willingness to learn)

Benefits
As a full-time RMS employee, you will receive:
100% employer-paid HSA medical insurance, or 80% employer-paid medical insurance for HMO and PPO plans for you and qualifying dependents
Dental and vision insurance (80% employer-paid)
Basic Life and AD&D insurance (100% employer-paid)
