Our client, a growing food manufacturer, is looking for a skilled QA Technician (2 nd shift) to join their team in Pomona, CA!
Pay: $18-$20 per hour
Location: Pomona, CA
Schedule: 2pm - 10:30pm with OT
Job type: 6-month contract- hire
Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician plays a vital role in supporting production processes and maintaining product quality in a food manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for conducting inspections, audits, and quality checks; collecting and analyzing samples; investigating product complaints; and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support production processes and remain accessible to production staff.
  • Conduct quality checks, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collect, log, and retain product samples for testing and traceability.
  • Investigate customer complaints and perform product inspections as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and retain samples per company policy.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality policies, food safety standards, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety programs and quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential weekends or off-shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in an additional language.
  • Experience in food manufacturing, metal detection systems, or laboratory testing.
