Registered Nurse Emergency Department

Location: Sitka, Alaska

Pay Rate: $86/hr

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Variable shifts, nights/days

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Emergency Department experience preferred

About the Role

We are seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Sitka, Alaska. This role supports patients of all ages in an emergency care setting and requires strong clinical judgment, calm decision-making, patient assessment skills, and the ability to respond quickly in routine and emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

• Perform patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and respond promptly to emergencies

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions safely

• Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary departments, CNAs, techs, and the healthcare team

• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and support safe discharge planning

Requirements

• BLS/BCLS And PALS Certifications Required

• ACLS Certification Required Within Facility Timeframe
