Job description

Div. 114 Pompano, FL

Summary 

Responsible for generating new business and growing existing customer relationships by selling fire sprinkler systems, service, inspections, and retrofit solutions; works closely with estimating, operations, and project management teams to develop proposals, secure contracts, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs and applicable fire and life safety codes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, including general contractors, property managers, building owners, and end users.
  • Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities for fire sprinkler installation, retrofit, service, and inspection work.
  • Review construction documents, specifications, and site conditions to support accurate estimating and proposal development.
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts in coordination with estimating and operations teams.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and scope of work to secure profitable projects.
    Collaborate with project managers, designers, and field teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools and internal reporting systems.
  • Stay current on applicable NFPA standards, local codes, and industry trends.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or business education preferred, and 2–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler sales, fire protection contracting, or related construction industry sales; strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, applicable codes, and construction processes preferred.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.

Physical Demands

Prolonged work at computer with frequent driving within assigned territory and ability to attend site visits and job walks; sit, stand, walk, close vision, ability to lift 25 lbs
