Primary purpose of the position:
Provides technical support to the financial analysis and contract administration function as directed.
Essential Responsible Areas:
  • Completes financial analyses related to contract compliance, and administers and reconciles customer contract provisions.
  • Calculates and reviews monthly sales accruals and creates periodic customer financial settlements of accrued amounts.
  • Reviews and approves sales accrual related billings, credits and payments.
  • Supports the calculation of budget, forecast and actual key customer contract periodic price changes.
  • Performs revenue recognition analysis as part of SOX compliance, may include supporting internal and external audit.
  • Assists with system related process maintenance and improvements in regards to contract administration
  • Assists with the maintenance of standard sales contract language and contract development with key customers.
  • Supports the division's management approval process including EVA based financial analysis for the renewal of existing customer sales contracts and new customer contract pricing and contract development.
  • Performs financial analyses related to the initial contract creation of global and regional key accounts in regards to pricing, terms and margin.
  • Creates financial models for analysing and solving new and unique business problems and or opportunities.

Position Requirement & Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Job related experience for 3 -5 years.

Skills:
  • Understanding of basic accounting and finance principals.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex ideas or concepts.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations required for analysis of pricing and contracts.

Knowledge:
  • Working knowledge of the following areas:
    • Finance, Accounting, Economic Value Added (EVA), business and economic principles and practices, financial modeling, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents.
    • Legal documents, pricing development, JDE Enterprise One, and Essbase, preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Expected Hiring Salary Range: $75,400 - $105,290 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
