Job description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Hub Delivery Finance team to drive financial processes and deliver high-impact analytics that support our rapidly growing network (>100% annual growth rate). Hub Delivery partners with small businesses to earn incremental revenue with existing space and labor by providing flexible, low-cost delivery service within their community as a 'side-hustle' with minimal upfront investment. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact growth strategies and cost improvement initiatives that benefit both Amazon and small business owners in the community.
This position offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic environment where your financial expertise will shape strategic decisions across Amazon Delivery. You'll own critical finance mechanisms, collaborate across finance and business teams, and develop innovative solutions that drive operational excellence. If you're passionate about finance analytics and want to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, evolving organization, this role offers exceptional opportunity for growth and influence.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage recurring finance mechanisms including Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and consolidate worldwide updates for planning cycles while ensuring reporting accuracy and regularly auditing work to maintain the highest standards
- Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools that provide insights on business performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making for Hub Delivery operations
- Proactively analyze financial data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization, converting data into meaningful findings and providing clear recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial solutions that support business growth while maintaining strong internal controls and financial compliance
- Drive continuous improvement projects that scale and enhance finance operations with measurable results, demonstrating ownership and bias for action in implementing solutions
- Identify and automate manual processes across finance workflows such as data consolidation, reporting, and reconciliation by leveraging AI or other tools to reduce cycle times, minimize errors, and free up capacity for higher-value strategic analysis
A day in the life
Your day starts by reviewing overnight financial performance metrics to prepare for the Weekly Business Review. You'll collaborate with team members to consolidate worldwide updates, ensuring data accuracy before presenting to leadership. Throughout the day, you'll toggle between analyzing financial trends, partnering with business teams to understand operational challenges, and developing improved reporting solutions. You might meet with other Hub Delivery Finance colleagues to align on planning cycle deliverables or work independently to automate a process that will scale across multiple regions.
