Job Description
Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Oshkosh, WI
Duration: Contract
Supplier Quality Engineer (sqe):
We need individuals strong in following commodities:
Electrical, Fabrication/Weldments, Castings and Machining
Roles and responsibilities:
Prepare PPAP submission packages to customers on first run parts.
Seat metal parts/Sheet metal (Weld/Stamped parts) Experience highly preferred
Prepare and maintain the FMEA s, process flow diagrams and process control plans
Deals with customers and suppliers on quality concerns which involves travel within North America
Prepare documentation and conduct training sessions on quality issues & continuous improvement
Develop positive relationships and effective lines of communication with suppliers
Required:
Five years experience in creating & reviewing PPAP s
Knowledge and practical application of engineering principles, quality tools and methods such as Control Plans, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, 8D, SPC, ISO 9001, etc.
Experience in PFMEA required.
Automotive industry experience would be preferred but not required
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Qualifications
